Context & Framing: LAC Committee Meeting
While extensive work has been done to shape the new board governance model, we are at the
first stage of the committee design process. When we meet on December 16, we will break into small groups so that each committee’s staff leader and chair can brainstorm and explore ideas collaboratively.
Let's lay a foundation for success.
To jump-start our time together, please reflect on the questions below. If you are able to respond by the end of the day Wednesday, December 15, we will compile and share the responses with your committee partner (either a staff person or chair).

At a minimum, please review the questions and be prepared to discuss with your partner on Thursday.

Design the Committee Charters
Each committee will have a charter that provides the foundational framing needed to move forward productively with a shared understanding
of the purpose, goals, parameters, roles, support structures, accountability measures, pathways for engagement, etc. With the charter as a guide,
the committees will have the opportunity to shape their goals, contributions, and approaches to meet the current or emergent needs/priorities and align with committee members’ strengths.
As we begin to create the framework for the charters, let’s start by brainstorming!
